MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – Athletes from ten countries will take part in the European Classic Powerlifting Cup that will take place in Oshmyany on 22-24 March, BelTA learned from the Federation of Classic & Equipped Powerlifting.
The tournament will be held in Oshmyany for the second time. About 70 athletes from Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Hungary, Spain, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia and Ukraine will compete for the prize. The Belarusian team will be represented by about 30 athletes.
Powerlifting is a type of weightlifting that consists of three attempts on three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift.
