Dmitry Lukashenko reelected chairman of Central Council of President's Sport Club

MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) - Dmitry Lukashenko was reelected chairman of the Central Council of the President's Sport Club at a general meeting of the national state and public association, BelTA learned from the press service of the organization.

Apart from Dmitry Lukashenko, the Central Council of the President's Sport Club includes Sergei Bulygin, Anatoly Varivonchik, Andrei Karpovich, Marina Lobatch, Viktor Lukashenko, Aleksandr Moshensky, Sergei Safaryan and Oleg Shepel.

Another key issue on the agenda of the meeting was to take stock of the work of the club in 2016-2020 and to outline the areas of the organization's activity for the next five years.

Plans are in place to further improve the work on solving the tasks set for the club, active participation in the organization of sport and mass events in Belarus. The President's Sport Club intends to expand international ties in order to create a positive image of Belarus and strengthen its positions in the international sport arena.
