Dinamo Minsk lose to Jokerit Helsinki

MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk lost 3-5 to Jokerit Helsinki in the KHL regular season on 8 October, BelTA has learned.

Sakari Manninen opened the scoring in the second minute. Dmitry Buinitsky brought Minsk level exactly two minutes later. Then Tomi Maki scored his first of the season to restore Jokerit's lead in the eighth minute. In the closing minutes of the first period the teams traded two more goals to make it 3-2 at the first intermission.

Jokerit scored one more midway through the second stanza and another one in the final period. Kristian Khenkel got his second of the night for Dinamo but that was not enough for the Bisons to get back into the game.

Dinamo Minsk will be back in action on 12 and 14 October as they host Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and Severstal Cherepovets.
