Dinamo Minsk fall to Traktor 1-2

MINSK, 27 December (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk lost 1-2 to Traktor Chelyabinsk in a KHL action on 26 December, BelTA has learned.

Despite struggling in the Western Conference, Andrei Sidorenko's team had won its last three games and sensationally beat Ak Bars last time.

However, after a goalless first period the Bisons fell behind to a Jonas Enlund goal early in the second. The reply came just before the half-hour mark as Dmitry Buinitsky tied the scores.

Traktor emerged victorious in the final stanza. Alexander Sharov got the decisive goal in the 52nd minute, snapping a two-game losing streak for Traktor.

With 29 points after 41 games Dinamo Minsk is 10th in the West.

The Bisons will next play Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg on 28 December and will wrap up the year 2018 against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl on 30 December.
