MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk edged Slovan Bratislava 2-1 in the KHL action at home on 20 December, BelTA has learned.
The Bisons clinched the second victory in a row, while the visitor arrived in Belarus on the back of a painful 11-game losing streak.
Chad Rau's power play goal put Slovan on the board in the eighth minute. Dinamo dominated the second period but could not find a way past Jakub Stepanek in the Slovan goal.
Everything changed in the third. Minsk tied the game through Evgeny Lisovets, and, then, in the 53rd minute, Teemu Pulkkinen put Dinamo in front and set up a second successive victory.
Dinamo Minsk will wrap up their home series against Ak Bars Kazan on 24 December.
