NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) – Darya Ulasava of Belarus clinched bronze in the Individual Female Foil at the European Cadet Circuit in Romania, BelTA has learned.
On the way to the podium, the Belarusian defeated Elina Solobaeva of Ukraine 15-12, Hungary's Anna Szeder 15-3, Ukraine's Olga Kalkutina 15-3, and Svitana Sopit of Ukraine 15-12. In the semifinal the Belarusian lost 13-15 to Romania's Karina Vasile, who won the event. Silver went to France's Alicia Audibert. Another bronze was taken by Ukraine's Anastasiia Yerofieienko.
Competing were 84 athletes from 14 countries.
