MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) – The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) has confirmed the information on the postponement of the CEV Women EuroVolley 2021 Qualifiers to January, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian Volleyball Federation.
The decision was taken by the CEV authorities jointly with representatives of the countries from Pool A, which represents Belarus, Estonia and Switzerland.
“I have encouraged them for hard work with the aim at August. I saw their serious attitude towards training. Now the target has moved away. This is a psychological moment, no one took it positively,” Denis Matveyev, head coach of the national team, commented on the news.
The qualifiers were due to take place in Belarus on 18-23 August. The exact dates of the CEV EuroVolley Women 2021 Qualifiers will be announced later.
