BRU student to represent Belarus at world, European armwrestling championships

MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) – A student of the Belarusian-Russian University (BRU) has won the right to represent Belarus at the 2021 World Armwrestling Championship and the 2021 European Armwrestling Championship, BelTA learned from the Telegram channel of the Belarusian Education Ministry.

More than 120 athletes from all regions of the country took part in the Belarusian junior armwrestling championship at the sports and recreation center in Nesvizh on 10 April. The results of the competitions were used to form the Belarusian national team for the eorld and European championships.

Dmitry Stefanenko, a student of the BRU Faculty of Automobile Mechanics, placed first in the +90kg individual event.
