MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes have won 22 medals at the European Classic Powerlifting Cup that took place in Oshmyany, Grodno Oblast, on 22-24 March, BelTA has learned.
The tournament was held in Oshmyany for the second time. About 70 athletes from ten countries competed for medals.
Powerlifting is a type of weightlifting that consists of three attempts on three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift.
