MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes are competing in another leg of the Russian Alpine Skiing Cup in Miass, Chelyabinsk Oblast, BelTA has learned.
Belarusian Maria Shkanova advanced to the Women's Parallel Slalom final showing the best result in the qualification (56.21 seconds). She lost in the semifinals and placed third overall.
The latest bronze is the fifth medal one for Maria Shkanova this season: earlier the Belarusian skier won three gold medals and a silver. The next event will be held in Moscow on 25 December. The Belarusian qualified for the tournament with the best time.
