MINSK, 1 July ()BelTA) – Belarusian Aliona Dubitskaya showed her personal best in shot put the 2019 IAAF Diamond League in Eugene, the United States, BelTA has learned.
She showed her best of 18.98m in the fifth round and placed fourth in the overall standings. Lijiao Gong of China was first with the result of 19.79m. Danniel Thomas-Dodd from Jamaica finished in second (19.26m) and Chase Ealey of the United States third with 19.23m.
The main tournament of the season for Aliona Dubitskaya will be the IAAF World Athletics Championships due in Doha, Qatar on 27 September – 6 October.
