MINSK, 28 November (BelTA) – Belarus' biathlete Yahor Kazarynau placed 14 in the Men 10km Sprint at the IBU Cup Biathlon opener in Sjusjoen, Norway on 28 November, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian clocked 30:07.4, with four penalties. The event was won by Lucas Fratzscher in 28:33.1 (one penalty). Silver went to Harald Lemmerer, who finished 5.7 seconds back, with one penalty. Aleksander Fjeld Andersen secured bronze, 17.3 seconds behind the winner, with three penalties.
As for the other Belarusian competitors, Viktar Kryuko finished 46th, Maksim Varabei – 48th, and Dzmitry Lazouski – 64th
