Belarus win 3 gold medals at 2nd European Games on 25 June

MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Belarus added three gold medals to its medal haul on completion day five of the 2nd European Games 2019, BelTA has learned.

Vasil Kiryienka claimed the champion title in the Men's Time Trial. The Belarusian cyclist was also the first in this event at the 2015 European Games in Baku. Hanna Hancharova and Maryia Makharynskaya were triumphant in the Women's Synchronized Trampoline Gymnastics event. Uladzislau Hancharou won the Men's Individual finals of the trampoline gymnastics tournament.

Belarus goes second in the medal table with 41 (14 gold, 9 silver, 18 bronze) medals. Russia tops the overall standings with the total of 53 (24, 13, 16) medals. Georgia is third with 20 (6, 5, 9) medals.
