MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – Belarus' world number 62 Vera Lapko has reached the 2018 Luxembourg Open quarterfinal after defeating France's world number 50 Pauline Parmentier 7-5, 6-2, BelTA has learned.
In the opener the Belarusian beat Germany's world number 100 Carina Witthoft 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. Vera Lapko will next face either Switzerland's world number 47 Belinda Bencic or Belgium's world number 52 Kirsten Flipkens.
