MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – Belarus' junior basketball team (Men) has advanced to the Global Challenge as it came up victorious on the last day of action in the FIBA U17 Skills Challenge 2020 European Qualifiers, BelTA has learned.
On its way to the Global Challenge Belarus posted a 113-126 win over Romania.
The women's team could not make it into the Global Challenge being defeated by Luxembourg.
The Global Challenge will take place on 18-23 August. It will bring together the world's 16 best teams (men and women each).
