MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) – Eight Belarusian athletes will take part at the Tel Aviv Grand Prix in Israel on 23-25 January, BelTA has learned.
Taking part in the competitions will be Dzmitry Shershan (66kg), Dzmitry Minkou (66kg), Yusup Bekmurzaev (81kg), Yegor Voropaev (90kg), Daniel Mukete (100kg), Mikita Sviryd (100kg), Daniel Mukete (100kg), Aliaksandr Vakhaviak (+100kg), and Uladzislau Tsiarpitski (+100kg).
The competitions will feature 583 athletes from 85 countries.
Belarus placed 6th with gold and bronze medals at the 2019 edition.
Medals at the Judo Grand Prix ensure athletes with additional points to the world rankings.
