MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) – Belarus has fielded 14 athletes at the 2020 UCI Track Cycling World Championships which kicked off in Berlin on 26 February, BelTA has learned.
Competing in the women's events will be Tatsiana Sharakova, Ina and Karalina Savenka, Aksana Salavuyeva and Palina Pivavarava.
Belarus will be represented in the men's events by Yauheni Akhramenka, Aliaksandr Hlova, Yauheni Karaliok, Uladzislau Novik, Raman Ramanau, Mikhail Shemetau, Hardzei Tsishchanka, Raman Tsishkou and Artsiom Zaitsau.
The UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Berlin will be running from 26 February till 1 March and will include 19 medal events: 10 men's and 9 women's events. Competing in the championships will be more than 600 athletes from 45 countries.
