Belarus takes bronze at Track Cycling UCI Grand Prix of Moscow 2020

MINSK, 4 September (BelTA) – Belarusian cyclists won bronze at the Track Cycling UCI Grand Prix of Moscow 2020, BelTA has learned.

Yauhen Veramchuk, Gleb Vishnev, and Artsiom Zaitsau clocked 1:02.003 to claim third place in team sprint. The Russian team of Alexander Sharapov, Denis Dmitriev, and Nikita Shurshin won the event in 58.558. Another Russian team of Mihail Smagin, Mikhail Dmitriev and Andrei Kuzmenko finished second in 59:654.

The Grand Prix of Moscow is marking the 40th anniversary of the 22nd Olympic Games. The competitions is the Russian capital will be over on 5 September.
