MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) – Hanna Damaratskaya of Belarus has become the winner of the individual distances at the Russian Speed Skating Championships in Kolomna, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus.
On the first day of the tournament, 20 December, the top athlete of our national sprint team competed in the 500m race. Damaratskaya clocked 38.77 seconds, setting the top time among 25 skaters. She beat the runner-up, Maria Gudoshnikova of Chelyabinsk Oblast, by a mere 0.09 seconds. Olympic medalist Angelina Golikova from Moscow (38.87) rounded out the podium. The Russian Speed Skating Championships in Kolomna will continue until 23 December.
