MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Aryna Sabalenka is among the nominees for the WTA Player of the Month in September 2018, BelTA has learned from the official website of the Women's Tennis Association.
20-year-old Aryna Sabalenka raised the 2018 Wuhan Open trophy and rose to a career-high ranking of World No. 16 as a result of the win.
The other WTA Player of the Month finalists for September 2018 include Japan's Naomi Osaka (World No. 6) and Karolina Pliskova (World No. 7) from Czechia.
