MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) – Head coach of the Belarusian national ice hockey team Mikhail Zakharov named an expanded roster for the Six Nations Tournament in Budapest, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.
The competitions will be held in Hungary on 11-14 December. Apart from the host, competing for medals will be Belarus, South Korea, Japan, Ukraine, and Norway.
Mikhail Zakharov named the following players:
goaltenders: Igor Brikun, Ivan Kulbakov, Aleksandr Osipkov;
defensemen: Oleg Yevenko, Kirill Gotovets, Dmitry Znakharenko, Nikolai Stasenko, Nick Bailen, Kristian Khenkel, Pavel Vorobei, Ilya Shinkevich, Sergei Bogoleisha;
forwards: Mikhail Stefanovich, Yevgeny Kovyrshin, Andrei Kostitsyn, Artyom Demkov, Aleksandr Kogalev, Aleksandr Kitarov, Igor Martynov, Sergei Drozd, Dmitry Buinitsky, Andrei Belevich, Sergei Malyavko, Aleksandr Malyavko, Geoff Platt.
On 8 December the Belarusian team will gather for a two-day winter camp at Chizhovka Arena ahead of their trip to Hungary.
