Belarus names squad for October UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying fixtures

MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) - Head coach of the Belarusian national football team Mikhail Markhel has named a squad for the next two October UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying fixtures against Estonia (on 10 October) and the Netherlands (13 October), BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Football Federation.

The training camp for the national team will run through 7-13 October. The final roster includes 23 players:

Goalkeepers: Alyaksandr Hutar (FC Dinamo Brest), Anton Chichkan (FC BATE Borisov), Egor Khatkevich (FC Isloch);

Defenders: Alyaksandr Martynovich (FC Krasnodar), Dzyanis Palyakow (FC Ural), Syarhey Palitsevich (FC Kairat), Aleh Veratsila (FC Dinamo Brest), Syarhey Matsveychyk (FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk), Zakhar Volkov (FC BATE Borisov), Nikita Naumov (FC Zhetysu), Nikolay Zolotov (FC Vitebsk);

Midfielders: Stanislaw Drahun, Ihar Stasevich, Dzmitry Baha, Evgeni Yablonski (all FC BATE Borisov), Pavel Savitski (FC Dinamo Brest), Yury Kavalyow, Max Ebong (both FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk), Ivan Maevski (FC Astana), Ivan Bakhar, Yevgeniy Shevchenko (both - FC Minsk),;

Forwards: Dzyanis Laptsew (FC Dinamo Brest), Maksim Skavysh (FC BATE Borisov), Vitaly Lisakovich (NK Varazdin).
