Belarus names squad for November fixtures against Germany, Montenegro

MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) - Head coach of the Belarusian national football team Mikhail Markhel has named the final squad for the next two November fixtures against Germany and Montenegro, BelTA has learned.

The roster includes 23 players:

Goalkeepers: Alyaksandr Hutar (FC Dinamo Brest), Siarhei Chernik, Anton Chichkan (FC BATE Borisov);

Defenders: Alyaksandr Martynovich (FC Krasnodar), Dzyanis Palyakow (FC Ural), Aleh Veratsila, Aleksandr Pavlovets (FC Dinamo Brest), Syarhey Matsveychyk, Alyaksandr Sachywka (both - FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk), Dmitriy Bessmertny (BATE Borisov), Nikita Naumov (FC Zhetysu), Nikolay Zolotov (FC Vitebsk);

Midfielders: Syarhey Kislyak, Pavel Nyakhaychyk (both FC Dinamo Brest), Stanislaw Drahun, Ihar Stasevich, Evgeni Yablonski (all FC BATE Borisov), Yury Kavalyow (FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk), Ivan Maevski (FC Astana), Ivan Bakhar, Yevgeniy Shevchenko (both - FC Minsk), Kiryl Pyachenin (FC Vitebsk), Vladislav Klimovich (FC Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino).

Forwards: Dzyanis Laptsew (FC Dinamo Brest), Maksim Skavysh (FC BATE Borisov), Vitaly Lisakovich (NK Varazdin).

On 11 November the Belarusian national team is set to meet at the technical center of the Belarusian Football Federation in Minsk and will have training practices in Vesnyanka through 14 November. On 16 November, the players will travel to Moenchengladbach for a match against Germany as part of the UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying. After that, the Belarusian team will head for Podgorica to play friendly against Montenegro on 19 November.
