MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) – Belarus have learned their rivals for 2021 CEV EuroVolley Women pool stage. The draw for the tournament which is to be hosted by Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania, took place in Belgrade on 20 May, BelTA has learned.
World champion Maja Ognjenovic of Serbia helped draw Belarus with Croatia, Italy, Slovakia, Hungary, and Switzerland in Pool C. These teams will play their matches in Zadar, Croatia.
Pool A will feature Serbia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Belgium, France, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Matches will be played in Belgrade.
Pool B will include Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Greece. The teams will play in Plovdiv.
Pool D (Cluj-Napoca) will comprise Romania, Turkey, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Finland, and Sweden.
