MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) - The first Belarusian-Egyptian sports week will be held in January 2019. The organizational issues were discussed during a meeting between Belarusian Ambassador to Egypt Sergei Rachkov and Minister for Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi of Egypt, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
The program of the sports week will include competitions in boxing, handball, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling among junior athletes.
The parties also considered the preparation of a memorandum of bilateral cooperation in youth policy. The countries are set to develop a plan of action to implement the memorandum. The document will envisage youth meetings, festivals and competitions.
