MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) - Belarus blanked Luxembourg 2-0 in the UEFA Nations League fixture on 15 November, BelTA has learned.
Stanislav Dragun fired in his first in the 37th minute after a well-worked move down the right, and smashed another one nine minutes after the interval after Luxembourg had failed to clear a free-kick.
Elsewhere in League D Moldova edged San Marino 1-0.
The team standings after five tours are as follows: Belarus – 11 points (five games played), Luxembourg – 9 (5), Moldova – 8 (5), San Marino – 0 (5).
On 18 November Belarus will take on San Marino while Moldova will host Luxembourg. Winners in the four quarters of League D will continue contention for the UEFA Euro 2020 finals.
