Belarus' Alina Harnasko wins five gold medals at Winter Queen Cup in Spain

MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes took part in the international rhythmic gymnastics tournament Winter Queen Cup in Platja d'Aro. Spain, BelTA learned from the NOC press service.

Belarusian athletes clinched 15 medals. Alina Harnasko, a bronze medalist of the Tokyo Olympics Games, became the absolute champion of the tournament in Spain. The Belarusian won all individual routines, took gold in the All-Around, and was named the Miss of the Tournament. Yelizaveta Zorkina of Belarus claimed five medals, becoming second in all the routines except for the Hoop where the Belarusian took bronze. Darya Tkacheva took silver with the Hoop and also bronze in the All-Around. Alina Rechkina won two bronze medals with the Ball and the Clubs. Darya Verenich secured bronze with the Ribbon.

Competing in the Winter Queen Cup apart from Belarus were athletes from Spain, Egypt, Lithuania and Belgium.
