MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) - The Belarusian national football team is 82nd with 1,286 points in the recently published rankings of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), one position down from from previous list released two months ago, BelTA has learned.
Over the past month Igor Kriushenko's men lost two home games as part of the 2020 UEFA European Championship Qualifying campaign: 0-2 against Germany and 0-1 against Northern Ireland. After that Igor Kriushenko quit from the pot of the head coach. Belarus' other opponents in Group C go as follows: Germany is 11th (1,582), Netherlands - 14th (1,569), Northern Ireland - 28th (1,496), Estonia is 99th (1,228). Belarus will continue the 2020 UEFA EURO Qualifying on 6 September against Estonia in Tallinn.
