MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) - The Belarusian national football team is 80th in the September rankings of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), BelTA has learned.
Since the release of the previous rankings the national team lost two positions. In September Igor Kriushenko's men launched their UEFA Nations League campaign. Belarus blanked San Marino at Minsk Dinamo Stadium 5-0 and drew 0-0 against Moldova in Chisinau. Belarus holds 1,304 points.
The first place in FIFA rankings is shared by Belgium and France which hold 1,729 points each. Third is Brazil with 1,663 points.
Ukraine is ranked highest among the post-Soviet states (29th, 1,483 points). Russia goes 46th with 1,423 points.More about Sport
