MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) – BATE Borisov made it to the group stage of the UEFA Europa League following a 2-1 win on aggregate over Bosnia's FK Sarajevo, BelTA has learned.
The first leg of the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League was held in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina on 8 August and ended up with BATE's 2-1 victory. The return leg took place at Borisov Arena on 15 August and and the game ended in a draw 0-0.
The Belarusian team will face FC Astana (Kazakhstan) next.
