Basketball Champions League: Tsmoki Minsk defeat Balkan Botevgrad

MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – BC Tsmoki Minsk prevailed 73-65 over group hosts Balkan Botevgrad at the start of the 2020-21 Basketball Champions League qualifiers, BelTA has learned.

On 24 September, the Dragons will battle for the spot in the 2020-21 edition of the Basketball Champions League against Neptunas Klaipeda who fended off newcomers London Lions to clinch a 77-73 victory.

If they succeed, the Minskers will get into the Champions League Group D. There, they will face AEK, Brose Bamberg, Cholet, Fortitudo Bologna, Hapoel Holon, Retabet Bilbao, and Pinat Karsiyaka.

If FC Tsmoki Minsk do not advance to the Champions League group stage, they will continue the season in the FIBA Europe Cup.
