MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) – Before the start of Wimbledon Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka lost her place in the top ten of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, BelTA has learned.
Now Aryna Sabalenka is 11th, former number 1 Serena Williams is back to the top ten. Another former leader of the world rankings Belarusian Victoria Azarenka moved up two notches and is now 40th. Aliaksandra Sasnovich goes 32nd, Vera Lapko 106th.

On 1 July Aryna Sabalenka will take on Slovakia's Magdalena Rybarikova (No. 139) in the Wimbledon first round, and Aliaksandra Sasnovich on Romania's Simona Halep (7). Victoria Azarenka has drawn Aliza Cornet (51) for the first encounter at Wimbledon. Vera Lapko will play against Chinese Wang Qiang (15) on 2 July.
This seasons' third Grand Slam will end on 14 July. This year's total prize money at Wimbledon is 38 million pounds.
