MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) – The General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) will take place in Seoul on 26-27 October 2021, BelTA learned from the official website of the organization.
Earlier, the ANOC and the Korean Sport and Olympic Committee (KSOC) had taken a joint decision to postpone the ANOC General Assembly to 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The ANOC Awards are also set for 26 October.
“We are very grateful to the KSOC for their hard work and the speed with which they have been able to find new dates for next year's ANOC General Assembly. We wanted to make sure we found dates that were as convenient as possible for the NOCs and that did not clash with other major sports events,” ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg said.
