MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – Belarus' world number 51 Aliaksandra Sasnovich lost 4-6, 0-6 to German world number 141 Antonia Lottner in the round of Last 32 at the 2018 Mallorca Open in Spain, BelTA has learned.
The German player will next face either Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova (world number 58) or Anastasija Sevastova of Latvia (world number 20).
World number 85 Victoria Azarenka will face Stefanie Vogele of Switzerland (93).
Aryna Sabalenka and Russia's Veronika Kudermetova will take on the Belarusian-Dutch tandem of Lidziya Marozava and Lesley Kerkhove. In the women's singles opener Aryna Sabalenka lost 6-3, 4-6, 2-6 to Belgium's world number 44 Alison Van Uytvanck.
