MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – Belarusian acrobats Veranika Nabokina, Julia Ivonchyk and Karina Sandovich clinched gold in Acrobatic Gymnastics Women's Groups Balance on 22 June, BelTA has learned.
Team Belarus got 29.520 points from the jury. Belgium's Talia de Troyer, Britt Vanderdonckt and Charlotte van Royen landed second with 29.320 points. Bronze went to Portugal.
This was Belarus' first gold medal at the 2nd European Games.
The Belarusians landed third in Women's Groups Balance at the 1st European Games in Baku. Apart from that, they won silver in Women's Group at the 2018 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships in Antwerp.
