MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – The personnel of OAO Vitebskdrev stands for the country's peaceful development, Director General of the company Yuri Doilin told BelTA.
Yuri Doilin stressed that thanks to the support of the state the company had been not just preserved but have been working in an absolutely different conditions today. “Those production capacities with which we entered the era of sovereign Belarus were not enough to make competitive goods. If not for the decision to upgrade our plant, the company would not exist today,” he said.
“We got an opportunity to re-equip, keep our staff employed and start working in new conditions with development prospects. That is no small feat. We want to preserve it all and multiply for the next generations. Our choice is clear: it is stability and order in the country, a peaceful development of sovereign Belarus,” the director general said.
The woodworking enterprise OAO Vitebskdrev was founded in 1927 as a small-scale production company. Today OAO Vitebskdrev is one of Belarus' biggest woodworking companies.
