Upgraded anti-armor missile tested in Belarus

MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) – The first field trials of the upgraded anti-armor missile 9M114MB took place in the Obuz-Lesnovsky exercise area of the Belarusian army, representatives of the Defense Ministry told BelTA.

The upgraded missile boasts a reduced weight, a longer flight distance, and a different control unit. Artillery units of the 11th Guards Mechanized Brigade took part in the field trials. The artillerists fired the missiles at minimal and maximum ranges – 400 meters and 6km respectively.

The upgraded missile was fired at an armored object from a distance of 2.5km.

All the launched missiles hit their targets.
