Union State Council of Ministers HLG considers 16 issues

MOSCOW, 2 June (BelTA) – The High-Level Group of the Belarus-Russia Union State Council of Ministers considered 16 issues in economy, transport, construction and the humanitarian sector at a meeting in Moscow on 2 June, State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev told the media after the meeting, BelTA has learned.

“We have considered 16 issues related to cooperation in real economy sectors, transport, construction, customs regulations and other sectors that we have not touched upon before. We considered humanitarian issues because the Union State Council of Ministers lifted restrictions on the application of support measures and steps in the humanitarian sector. These are education, culture, and healthcare,” Dmitry Mezentsev said.

The state secretary thanked the co-chairmen of the High-Level Group - Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoi and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk for bringing in a new practice of cooperation, which helps quickly resolve issues of economic entities and make up decisions at the level of heads of state, governments and parliaments to ensure technological sovereignty of the Union State.
