MINSK, 15 November (BelTA) – The United Arab Emirates views Belarusian defense companies as reliable partners, the press service of the State Authority for Military Industry of Belarus told BelTA after a Belarusian delegation held negotiations at Dubai Airshow 2021.
On the second day of Dubai Airshow 2021 Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI) Dmitry Pantus met with UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi. The sides discussed the current state of military technology cooperation and stressed the importance of its further development, primarily in the joint research and development of modern weapons and military hardware. The UAE side noted that Belarus has always been and remains a reliable partner in the sphere of defense technologies.
Dmitry Pantus also met with Chief of the General Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Air Chief Marshal Fayyadh al-Ruwaili. The sides discussed promising avenues of bilateral military technology cooperation in detail. Apart from that, the head of the Saudi Arabian delegation was made familiar with the Belarusian stand at Dubai Airshow 2021 and highly appreciated the products made by Belarusian companies.
