MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – Over the last 24 hours the Polish side and the Latvian side completely failed to honor agreements concerning truck passage across the border while Lithuania processed a lower number of trucks coming from Belarus in comparison to the figures bilateral agreements specify, BelTA has learned.
According to the State Border Committee of Belarus, 1,120 semi-trailer trucks are waiting to leave Belarus right now. The bilateral agreements specify how many trucks a border checkpoint is supposed to let through over a certain period of time. The lowest percentage of 44% was registered at the Polish border checkpoint Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa on the Belarusian side) while the highest percentage of 105% was registered at the Lithuanian border checkpoint Tverecius (Vidzy on the Belarusian side).
Trucks could leave Belarus for Ukraine without problems.
