
MOSCOW, 8 December (BelTA) - The 15th CIS Forum of Creative and Scientific Intellectuals will take place in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan, on 12-13 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation.
The event will bring together over 200 delegates from Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Russia. The theme of the forum is Humanitarian Cooperation - Thirty Years of Experience and Development Prospects.
“As part of plenary sessions and specialized sections, figures of science, education and art will discuss various aspects of professional interaction: new formats of cooperation in education, continuity and innovation in working with young people, the formation of intercultural dialogue, integration mechanisms in literature and book publishing. The central panel discussion will be devoted to the main topic of the year 2022, which was announced the Year of Folk Creativity and Cultural Heritage in the CIS,” the press service said.
The forum will include an award ceremony for winners of the CIS interstate awards Commonwealth Stars and Commonwealth of Debuts, and also a performance of the CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra.
“The Forums of Creative and Scientific Intellectuals are the main humanitarian event of the year in the CIS. They are held alternately in the capitals of the CIS countries. Tashkent is set to host the forum for the first time,” representatives of the fund said.
