NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – A tactical exercise for one air defense missile battalion of the 115th Air Defense Missile Regiment is in progress in the military training area Brestsky, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
As part of the exercise the battalion's commanding officer decided to redeploy the troops to a new position.
The military personnel arrived at the site in advance, prepared the launch vehicles for firing, and began combat alert duty.
The battalion's commanding officer noted that all the tasks had been carried in conditions resembling actual combat as much as possible. Sabotage and reconnaissance force of the simulated enemy had been nearly constantly harassing the troops.
The battalion established interaction with military personnel of the 38th Brest Independent Guards Air Assault Brigade and radio warfare units.
