NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) – A joint tabletop exercise of the joint command of the Belarus-Russia regional military force is scheduled to start in Belarus' Armed Forces on 31 January, the Belarusian Defense Ministry press service told BelTA.
Representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry and the Russian one will spend a week practicing the joint planning of troops deployment on the basis of experience of the armed conflicts of the last few years. The exercise will focus on making decisions on employing the regional military force for the sake of ensuring military security of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
The set of joint operational training measures is designed to improve compatibility of Belarusian and Russian military command bodies. The exercise represents another step in preparations for the joint operational exercise Union Shield 2023, which will take place in Russia in September 2023.
