Kazanluk, 17 October (BelTA - BTA) - An explosion occurred in one of the plants of the Arsenal ordnance company in Kazanluk on Wednesday morning, said the press office of the company. Six workers were injured but none is in life-threatening condition.
The blast occurred around 9 o'clock and was caused by burning gunpowder. The explosion did not spread to other workshops.
The person with the most severe injuries was taken to the University Hospital in Stara Zagora. Two others underwent surgery in the Kazanluk hospital. The rest were discharged after being examined and treated for their injuries.
The District Prosecutor's Office of Stara Zagora began an occupational injury investigation for inflicting medium bodily harm to more than one persons.More about Society
