MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – A test to check whether Belarus' Armed Forces are ready for combat continues. Units of the special operations forces command have begun the next stage of the test in line with the plan, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

The 103rd Vitebsk Independent Airborne Brigade and units of the 38th Brest Independent Airborne Brigade have been relocated to staging areas and have started carrying out combat training tasks. Units of the Vitebsk brigade have started elements of an integration exercise, during which they will practice camouflaging, organization of guard duties and reconnaissance missions. Close attention at this stage is paid to the shakedown of battalions and logistics units. A paratrooper battalion of the 38th Brest Independent Airborne Brigade and reinforcements are taking part in a tactical exercise in the exercise area Domanovsky.

The exercise for paratroopers represents another stage in perfecting forms and methods of deploying special operations units to fight terrorism. It is also a test of their capability to accomplish their missions in any circumstances.
