MOSCOW, 14 February (BelTA) – Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Anatoly Sidorov does not rule out the possibility of the) Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) taking part in CSTO military exercises as he gave a press conference at the CSTO Crisis Response Center in Moscow on 14 February, BelTA has learned.
“I do not want to get ahead of myself in terms of our cooperation with the SCO. But a decision to green-light the participation of a state or an international organization in a CSTO military exercise must be coordinated with all member states,” Anatoly Sidorov said.
“Are we working on this? Yes, we are,” he noted.
“There are plans in this regard, but I am not yet ready to disclose what these participants will be and how many of them will be”, Anatoly Sidorov said.
