
IVANOVO DISTRICT, 29 December (BelTA) – Pieces of a missile dropped literally 60 meters away from the nearest house in the village of Gorbakha, Ivanovo District, Brest Oblast, a BelTA correspondent reported from the site.

The missile pieces dropped on the outskirts of the village. BelTA reporters found out that the nearest house is only 66 meters away. Investigators, specialists of the State Forensic Examination Committee, the Defense Ministry, and a bomb squad are working at the site upon instructions of the Belarus president. Police personnel have cordoned off the site and people were moved to a safe distance.



BelTA reported earlier that air defense units shot down an aerial target at about 10 o'clock in the morning on 29 December. Pieces of the missile were found in a crop field in the vicinity of the village of Gorbakha, Ivanovo District. According to preliminary data, those are pieces of an S-300 air defense guided missile fired from Ukraine's territory.
