MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – Russian travelers most often opt for Belarus when it comes for an autumn holiday destination in the CIS, BelTA learned from the TurStat analytics agency.
According to the TurStat rating of the most popular CIS spa resorts in autumn, Russian tourists most often travel to Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Moldova.
Top five spa resorts this autumn are Lake Naroch in Belarus, Naftalan in Azerbaijan, Burabay in Kazakhstan, Jermuk in Armenia, and Calarasi in Moldova.
According to the agency, tourists spend 10 to 14 days at the CIS spa resorts on average during autumn trips. The cheapest accommodation, catering and rehabilitation treatment are in Belarus. Russians usually pay less than RUB3,000 per day here. Russians pay up to RUB3,500 per day when they travel to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Moldova.More about Society
