The Belarusian army delegation met with representatives of the Russian company Uralvagonzavod during the international defense technology forum Army 2019.
The meeting resulted in a contract, which provides for upgrading 11 T-72B tanks up to the T-72B3 level in 2019-2020. Apart from that, a contract was signed with the R&D corporation Irkut on refitting Yak-130 aircraft in order to allow the installation of the Belarusian onboard defense system Talisman.
