SAINT PETERSBURG, 15 April (BelTA) – Works by BelTA's photographer Oksana Manchuk are on view in the State Hermitage Museum in Russia, BelTA has learned.

On 14-16 April, Saint Petersburg is hosting the 15th edition of the media forum of young journalists “Dialogue of Cultures”. The program of the forum includes the photo exhibition “Here I Live”. The exhibition is traditionally held in the Hermitage Museum. It showcases 300 works by 50 photographers.

Oksana Manchuk has presented eight works depicting the Student Village in Minsk. She worked on the project for one and a half years under the guidance of famous Russian photographer Yuri Kozyrev. “The project is called Babylon. It celebrates students who come from various foreign countries to study in Belarus. I wanted to show that despite their difficulties these young people have a lot in common,” Oksana Manchuk said.

Chairman of the media congress “The Commonwealth of Journalists” and Secretary of the Russian Union of Journalists Ashot Dzhazoyan pointed out that the exhibition features very interesting works. Authors of the best photos were presented with diplomas.
